Gil’s experience with songwriting is a natural outgrowth of his lifelong passion for drumming. Each song begins as a groove, with melody, harmony and lyrics supporting the fundamental rhythmic idea. His music is infused with influences from Pop, Grunge, Classic Rock and Metal. He writes for his bands using and Holy Dose.

In 2024 and 2025, Gil wrote music for Twisted Pixel’s video game ‘Deadpool VR’. He brought his diverse influences to bear, creating a bespoke musical language to best suit each level. The soundtrack was nominated for ‘Best Original Score For A Video Game Or Interactive Media’ at the International Film Music Association 2025 Awards.
